Yunnan White Tea, also known as "White Moonlight" in Chinese (月光白), is made from the leaves of large-leaved straight-trunked trees up to 5 meters tall. These trees are called Jinggu Da Bai Cha or Big White Tea from Jinggu, and the unusual black and white color of the tea is related to the characteristics of this cultivar. The main difference between Moonlight and famous Fujian white teas is that it is withered and dried in closed rooms rather than in the sun.
